Miss Lindsay's Awesome October PM

We had many interesting experiences this month!  We gathered materials on a nature walk with which we created a collage, measured our height in apples, explored pumpkins inside and out, hauled around many pumpkins in the yard, made our own potions with shaving cream, colored water, glitter, and dried flowers that we ground up with a mortar and pestle, had assessments in preparation for conferences, went to the Farmstead, celebrated fall and Halloween.  What a month!

We are always planning, designing, engineering, constructing, etc.

Heading to our nature walk. Then we made collages
with our findings.

We had many pumpkins to haul around, decorate,
open, explore, and use any way we chose.

The slackline was a hit!

Party Day!

Potion making.

They lost interest after a while so we added sticks for stirring
and suggested they grind flowers and seeds to add.

Pumpkin ball punching.

The game is Spider Ring Toss but
the unicorns wanted to play differently.

These two played together for a very long time.
