Both November and December are short months, so we combined our digital recap.
Early in November we loved being able to visit with each family in our conferences. We are so blessed to be able to work with your amazing children!
Some of our highlights were learning about healthy foods and having a grocery store in our imaginative play area. We even had a real cash register and realistic looking money to work with. We learned about gratitude and learned how to sign the word "thank you."
We did several cooking projects. We love the math, science, communication, community, and cooperation involved in cooking. We made muffins, Stone Soup, and gingerbread man cookies.
We practiced the art of giving, and the joy of making gifts when we created our own Christmas gifts and wrapped them for you. We took many opportunities to tell each other stories using felt figures.
The imagination area became a reindeer house, human house, Santa workshop, or whatever they came up with.
We enjoyed several stories and songs of the season and practiced our skills every day. Creating decorations for the class tree was a favorite thing to do. Enjoy the pictures!
